The PreK-3 Program at Sweet Start Academy gives three-year-olds a joyful, structured place to strengthen early academic and social skills.

Through play, conversation, movement, stories, art, science exploration, and small-group learning, children develop the confidence and independence they need for Pre-K4, VPK, and future classroom success.

What Children Learn in Prek-3

Our PreK-3 experiences support language and early literacy, mathematical thinking, scientific curiosity, physical development, creativity, and social-emotional growth.

Children practice listening, following routines, recognizing letters and sounds, early writing, counting, sorting, problem-solving, sharing ideas, and working with peers.

English is the primary instructional language. Teachers may also use Spanish words, songs, stories, or conversation to help some children maintain their connection to Spanish and give others meaningful early exposure.

Sweet Start Academy accepts cash, check, Zelle, and credit card for the Pre-K3 Program. Qualifying families may use Florida School Readiness assistance. Contact us for current tuition, schedules, availability, and sibling discounts.

PreK-3 serves children ages 3 to 4, subject to classroom availability. Families may schedule a tour to learn about the daily routine, developmental goals, enrollment documents, and transition from PreK-3 into PreK-4 or VPK.

PreK-3 classrooms follow active-supervision, sanitation, secure pickup, and age-appropriate safety procedures. Teachers establish clear routines and positive classroom expectations.

Families should communicate allergies, medical needs, medications, developmental concerns, or special instructions during enrollment.
