The Toddler 1 Program at Sweet Start Academy is designed for children ages 1 to 2—a stage filled with movement, discovery, emerging language, and rapid growth.

Our teachers provide a secure routine and patient guidance while helping toddlers explore their environment, express their needs, practice early social skills, and gain confidence in doing more for themselves.

Learning Through Play

Each day combines predictable routines with sensory play, music and movement, books, art, simple problem-solving, outdoor experiences, and guided exploration.

Teachers support gross and fine motor development, early communication, listening, turn-taking, and emotional regulation in ways that match each toddler’s pace.

Children may also hear simple Spanish words, songs, or stories as natural classroom enrichment, especially when familiar language helps a child feel comfortable and included.

Sweet Start Academy accepts cash, check, Zelle, and credit card. Qualifying families may use Florida School Readiness assistance. Contact us for current Toddler 1 tuition, schedules, availability, and sibling discounts.

Toddler 1 enrollment is intended for children ages 1 to 2, subject to space. Contact the academy to tour the classroom, discuss your child’s routines and developmental needs, and receive the current enrollment documents and start-date information.

Toddler classrooms use active supervision, age-appropriate materials, regular cleaning and sanitation, and secure arrival and pickup procedures. Please inform the academy about allergies, medications, medical needs, or special instructions before enrollment.
