Sweet Start Academy’s PrrK-4 and VPK Program supports children during the important year before kindergarten.

Children strengthen early literacy, math, communication, self-regulation, independence, and classroom participation through purposeful instruction and engaging play.

Sweet Start Academy also participates in Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten program for eligible four-year-olds.

Our PreK-4 and VPK learning experiences address language and literacy, mathematical thinking, science and social studies, physical development, creative expression, and approaches to learning.

Children practice letter and sound awareness, early writing, counting, patterns, problem-solving, listening, following multi-step directions, working with classmates, and completing age-appropriate tasks.

Florida’s VPK program provides funded prekindergarten for children who meet state eligibility requirements. Families may also choose PreK-4 care or additional hours outside the funded VPK schedule when available.
